| Description | Freeform Pastures lets sheep graze inside ordinary player-built fences, including multifruit alfalfa/lucerne pasture. Drive a compatible livestock trailer into an owned grass, meadow or alfalfa/lucerne enclosure, close the gate and use the normal R action to unload. The mod detects the fence polygon automatically, checks land ownership and available grass, meadow or alfalfa/lucerne forage, builds a temporary animal navigation area, preserves basegame and Realistic Livestock animal identity, consumes and visibly grazes the pasture, and monitors the gate while animals are present. Return with an empty livestock trailer to load the same animals again. Opening the gate pauses grazing until the enclosure is secure. Planted-grass and multifruit alfalfa/lucerne field grazing are also supported. This is an early community-test release with server-authoritative multiplayer livestock transfers, synchronized pasture sessions and a basegame-style pasture information HUD. Feed and animal health follow the accelerated in-game clock, and the real stored animals receive native grazing nutrition updates; wool, milk and other products remain husbandry-only. When Sheep Pasture Welfare is installed, each paddock or grass/alfalfa field receives a persistent welfare profile: condition can reduce the initial forage allowance, welfare pressure can influence the daily health factor, and Condition, Wetness, Poaching and Welfare are added to the information HUD. When Animal Herding Lite is installed, active Freeform flocks can be converted into manually herdable animals and settled into compatible husbandries, existing pastures or newly detected secure paddocks. |
